D Class Fire Extinguisher (SP & C Type)

Metal fires present unique challenges and risks because burning metals can react violently with water, foam, or other conventional extinguishing agents. In many cases, these substances can intensify the fire or cause explosions. The D Class Fire Extinguisher (SP & C Type) is specifically designed to safely suppress fires involving combustible metals.

This extinguisher contains a special dry powder extinguishing agent developed for high-temperature metal fires. When discharged, the powder spreads over the burning metal surface and forms a thick heat-resistant layer. This layer acts as a barrier that isolates the burning metal from oxygen, preventing the fire from continuing its chemical reaction.
