A Conventional Fire Alarm System divides a building or facility into separate detection zones.
Each zone contains compatible fire detection devices, such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, and manual call points. These devices are connected to the conventional fire alarm control panel.
Under normal operating conditions, the system continuously monitors the detection circuits. When a detector identifies a fire-related condition or a manual call point is activated, the control panel receives the signal and indicates the zone associated with the alarm.
